Outdoor Learning.
Outdoor learning has been an integral part of EarlyYears education in Scandinavia since the 1950's the philosophy was based upon a desire to provide young children with an education that encouraged an appreciation of the natrural world and responsibility for nature conservation in later life. Outdoor learning has been running in other areas of this country for several years
Comments from parents
My son loved 'Outdoor Learning' his favourite thing was the "see saw". he is looking forward to going again next year.
I think the outside learning is such a great opportunity for the
children. I know my daughter really loved her time at Lupton House. I
would recommend it to everyone.
My daughter loved the whole outdoor learning experience, exploring and finding things.
An excellent opportunity for children to explore a woodland in a safe
setting. They enjoy it and it builds confidence. the rabbits were
especially popular.
My son thoroughly enjoyed every second at outdoor learning. Thankyou
so much for running it and giving him the opportunity to learn lots of
new outdoor experiences.
My son thoroughly enjoyed outdoor learning, he would move the clock
forward to make me think we were going to be late so we could get there
earlier. Seeing the children outside playing together is such a treat
especially as they are learning something too. I've told many friends
about it and their childrens pre-school/nurseries do not offer outdoor
learning.
My Daughter has really enjoyed her outdoor learning at Lupton House and would of liked to have gone more.
My son loved attending the outdoor learning at Lupto House, each time
he has been, He wished he could go for more weeks and is always
disappointed when it finishes.
